Isaac Hooper presents ‘blip’
What lurks beneath our seabed?
A plug.
Belly button of Earth. From whence we rose and now must return, to pull. Drain the excess. Before the sea swelling swallows us.
blip is an interactive underwater adventure by award-winning performance artist Isaac Hooper. The pioneering production of ‘Cyborg Sound Poetry’, blip harnesses embodied electronics for voice, light, and word play through clown.
Seize the means of vocal production and go fishing at the end of the whirlpool through this immersive plunge to the depths of our imagination.
blip who?
This siren screwball is the brainchild of Dada and a Motherboard. Born across the motorway from Stonehenge blip transmogrified when the young poet swallowed a fly zapper. Galvanising live looping, beatboxing, and psychedelic soundscapes into a revolutionary performance art ‘Cyborg Sound Poetry’, blip transforms our voices to sing the body electric.
