Titirangi Theatre Company presents The Shape of Things

How far would you go for art and success? How much would you sacrifice for love? Such challenging and confronting questions are explored by American playwright Neil LaBute in his multi-award-winning black comedy The Shape of Things.

When shy English Lit student Adam meets the enigmatic and fascinating art major Evelyn, an intense and exciting relationship quickly develops. However, as Adam’s love life soars, his best friends'relationship begins to fall apart, and all their relationships become increasingly complicated. This play unleashes a drama that peels back the layers of two modern-day relationships with surprising results.

Both darkly funny and gripping, The Shape of Things challenges society’s most deeply entrenched ideas about manipulation, art, and love.
