North Shore Music Theatre presents

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a musical comedy that follows an eclectic group of six youths as they compete to become the 25th Putnam County Spelling Champion. Whilst candidly admitting hilarious and touching stories from their home lives they spell their way through an array of words, hoping to never hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Run by three equally as quirky adults, the fast paced and wildly funny musical also includes audience volunteers, a chance for you to join in the fun and spell some words!

Directed by Amelia Claridge, Musical Directed by Campbell MacKenzie and Choreographed by Zoe Fraser, NSMT is proud to put on their first licensed musical production led by a youth creative team.
