Playhouse Theatre Inc presents One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest

After being convicted of a petty crime, a charming, rebellious rogue contrives to serve his short sentence in a state mental hospital rather than in a prison. This, he soon learns, was a mistake.

Directed by award winning Director Paul Roukchan, this stage adaptation of Ken Kesey's novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest follows Randle McMurphy in his battle of wills against the inflexible Nurse Ratched and the chaos and drama that ensues.

This play is recommended as R16 and contains adult material, including topics of violence, sex and suicide. Parental guidance is strongly recommended. The depiction of brutal mental health treatment is historical and not a reflection of treatment methodology today.
